Dictation everywhere
One hotkey activates Dicta in any text field on macOS: your editor, your inbox, your terminal, your browser. Press, speak, and the text lands exactly where your cursor was.
Corrections & My Words
Dicta learns the names, product terms and abbreviations you use and applies them on every future dictation, without repeating yourself. Filler words ("um", "uh", false starts) are removed automatically.
Writing styles per app
Dicta can rewrite your dictation to match where it is going: casual in chat, precise in your ticket tracker, formal in e-mail. The rewrite runs locally, using the same on-device model as everything else.
History
Every dictation stays on your Mac, searchable, in a local history you can review, edit or delete. It is never uploaded to build that history.
Offline by construction
Dictation, corrections and AI rewriting need no network connection at all. The only network calls Dicta ever makes are documented on the Privacy page, and none of them carry your audio or text.
Dicta Meetings (included with Pro and Team, coming after launch)
Local meeting transcription, speaker detection and AI notes, fully on-device: no bot ever joins your call, and nothing about a meeting leaves the machine it was recorded on.
